This band stepped out of the shadows in 2012 as the Boston-based acoustic rock trio The Inebriations. We leaned heavily on the legacy of the 50’s Sun Studios sound while seeking out the rougher edges of the Neo-Americana movement.
Time and lineup changes brought a transition from a traditional acoustic flavors towards a heavier, 60’s/ 70’s inspired electric roots-rock sound. We were building a formidable live set, working on new recordings and made grand plans… until COVID-19 entered the room.
The Inebriations have been immortalized with a collection recently released to Bandcamp. New music will be released as Old Dog Sound in 2024.
